Stock Food and Drink

My new website stockfoodanddrink.com has now been launched to promote my stock food and drink photos.
I decided that my old site stevelupton.com needed a bit of an update as it wasn’t quite performing on phones and tablets as I would have liked. I had built the site to deliberately have a personal artist’s sort of look, as opposed to a corporate all singing and dancing affair.
The more I looked at my site though the more I wondered if the look could be misinterpreted as slightly amateurish, you know what it’s like when a thought manifests it’s self and then it gets to override everything. I must say I still like the simple looking artistic look, it was inspired by a French artist’s website I had seen some time ago, so I will keep it live for the time being and hope people get it.
So my new site ‘Stock Food and Drink’ has taken me six weeks to build and I will still be adding to it for the next six weeks no doubt. I have decided to use a very up to date look this time with an emphasis on my core service, supplying stock food and drink photos.
The site features things like parallax imaging, subtle animation of graphics, retina display, a slider with large images and a comprehensive portfolio that can be drilled into for more image info. Of course this all links to my image library Getty Images so that users can easily license my images there either as Royalty Free or Rights Managed.
I think it’s important that websites stay fresh with the latest technology, so hopefully this site will perform well on all devices and show my images in their best light.
